The maps display what changes the suburb of Finsbury underwent over a 35-year period time.
Overall, the area saw several notable changes, the most important of which are the addition of more amenities and the enhancement of the infrastructure of the town.
In detail, in the northeast of the town, the terraced houses were flattened in order to construct a brand new supermarket and car park. Furthermore, on the southeast side, the warehouses were erected at the expense of the territory that was allocated for the fields.
Turning next to a change in the center of the town, it is necessary to note that a huge roundabout was put up, knocking down block of flats and removing grocery store on the north side. In addition, the park was relocated to an empty area nearby, leaving space for newly erected terraced houses, that previously were located in the northeast of the map. Finally, the tennis courts were converted into sport centre and parking space with the intention to modernise the territory.
