Overall, the proportion of householders without cars decreased over time, while the percentage of householders with one car reached its peak in the year 1991, and having two cars category was unstable throughout the period.
Householders who didn’t had a car recorded the highest rate at the beginning, recording more than 45 percent, then this value decreased to 42 percent in 1981, and falling sharply to 30 percent in 1991, and reaching 28 percent at the end.
Secondly we can see that, householders owning one car group recorded 35 percent in 1971, then declined to 31 percent in 1981. In contrast the year 1991 recorded the highest proportion for this group, which its value jumped to 47 percent, although it decreased in 2001 but remined higher, accounting for 43 percent.
Finally, householders with two cars their category was unstable, recording the lowest percentage in 1971 at 16 percent, then rise dramatically to 28 percent in 1981, after that decreased significantly to 21 percent in 1991, to increase again in 2001, accounting for 28 percent as no car group.
