In the next 5 months, the average temperature in two urban areas decreased significantly, then, they increased steadily, from around 10 degrees to 26 degrees in Brisband minimum and to 20 degrees in Canberra maximum respectively, the minimum of Canberra temperature increased from 1 degree to 12 degrees in 6 months. By contrast, the average temperature in Brisband maximum increased, from 22 in April to 30 degrees in December.

From October to December, the average number of days in Brisband increased from 8 days to 12 days, whereas in Canberra decreased from 10 days to 7 days in October and December respectively.
