Overall, the average temperature in Brisbane was higher through out the year. Similarly, the rainfall days were also more in Brisbane as compared to Canberra. Although, during the month of June, July, August, September, and October, the average days with rainfall was higher in Canberra.

In Brisbane, the daily temperature fluctuated from maximum of 30°C to minimum of 10°C, over the period of 12 months. However, the daily temperature of Canberra had a maximum limit of 27°C and the minimum temperature dropped to as low as 1°C in June and July.

Coversely, the average number of days with rainfall was 14 days, which was highest in Brisbane during the month of February and March. It plummeted soon after and remained constant in June, July, August, and September, at 7 days, respectively. Whereas, rainy days in Canberra were low during the start of the year, till may the maixmum number of rainy days were 8. Subsequently, the average rainy days bumped in June to 10 days and it thrived constantly at 10 days till August. After which, a small drop can be noticed in September to 8 days and again it hiked to 10 days in October.

Notably, as the year end approached the rainy days in Brisbane increased to 12 days and Canberra’s rainy days dropped back to 7 days.
