However, the following trend has been taken by IT classes currently. While the preference for other courses has changed slightly, Art remains one of the least preferred options.
In 1985, modern languages were favored the most (24%). The next proportions were accounted for by Fitness and dance and Art, at 22% and 17%, respectively. These were followed by Local history and Cookery, at 15% and 14%. Meanwhile, music appreciation accounted for only 0.08% of the total.
In contrast, today’s tendency shows a difference, with IT being the primary choice of students. While Fitness and dance classes have not experienced any changes, the popularity of cookery courses has increased by 19%. However, Art and Modern language courses have seen a downward trend, decreasing by 15% and 17%, respectively.
