The line graph illustrates daily high and low temperatures in degrees Celsius for Briisbane and Canberra, while the bar chart depicts the average number of days with rainfall per month in each city.
Overall, it is obvious that Brisbane’s minimum and maximum temperatures were higher than those in Canberra in general. Additionally, it is also notable that both areas showed a similar pattern in temperature changes. In terms of rainfall, although Brisbane experienced more rainy days on average, the trends between April and September were opposite.
Looking at the line graph more closely, one can see that in February, the average daily maximum temperature in Brisbane reached its highest point, at 30°C. Meanwhile, Canberra’s average daily maximum temperature rose steadily from December to February, peaking at 27°C. By contrast, July saw a decline in the lowest temperatures in both cities, dropping to around 10°C in Brisbane and nearly 1°C in Canberra.
As can be demonstrated by the bar chart, it is apparent that the total number of rainy days in Brisbane increased gradually from December to April, hitting a peak at 14 days in both February and March. Likewise, the highest number of days with rainfall in Canberra remained stable, at 10 days with rainfall per month.
