The line graph and table illustrate the details about agriculture, industrial and domestic usage of water all over the world in 1900 to 2000 and water usage in Brazil and Congo in 2000.
overall, it is obvious that agricultural usage of water in the world showed the highest trend while domestic use figure represented the lowest one. However, after 1950, consumption of water in all three sectors improved significantly. On the other hand, according to the table, water consumption in Brazil is higher than Congo in 2000.
With regards to the global water usage, in 1900 about 500Km3 water were used by the agriculture sector and it remained relatively stable till mid of 1940. After that, it increased rapidly to about 3000Km3 in 2000. Although, domestic and industrial usage of water in the showed obviously the similar cubic meters till end of the 1940, after 1950 industrial trend rose dramatically to about 1000Km3 in 2000 while domestic usage of water remained as the lease during the given period.
According to the table, Brazil’s water consumption (359m3) was higher than Congo (8m3) in 2000 as Brazil has 176 million population and 26,500Km2 irrigated lands while Congo has only 5.2 million population and 100Km2 lands.
