The line graph shows global water use in 3 different sectors between 1900 and 2000.
Agricultural water use started with the most water consumption among them. It used about 500 km3 of water in 1900 and had increased slightly by 1910. This figure rose slowly until the mid of 20th century and reached about 1000km3 water use. However this number started to grow dramatically in the early 1950s,this number had reached about 1800km3 by 1970. Next it began to rise dramatically and to the end of 20th century this number reached over 3000km3.
Agricultural use was too high while Industrial and domestic use were at zero level.
Until 1950 the numbers remained stable but industrial consumption began to increase significantly and the gap between 2 figures became larger, however it reached 1000km3 by 2000. While domestic use almost did not change till the end of the period although even did not reach 1000km3.
Overall all three sectors grew but agriculture showed the most growth, while domestic consumption remained the lowest throughout.
