The image shows a line graph of global water use by sector from 1900 to 2000, with the y-axis representing cubic kilometers (km³) and the x-axis representing years. Three sectors are represented by different colored lines: agriculture (black), industrial use (red), and domestic use (green). Agriculture has the highest water use, increasing from around 500 km³ in 1900 to nearly 3000 km³ by 2000. Industrial use starts at nearly 0 km³ in 1900 and reaches just over 1000 km³ by 2000. Domestic use remains the lowest, starting at nearly 0 km³ in 1900 and reaching just under 500 km³ by 2000. Each sector shows a steady increase in water use over the century, with agriculture showing the steepest incline.

The charts give the information about global water use in different purposes and compare the population, irrigated land, and water consumption per person in Brazil and Democractic Republic of Congo.
The global water use in agriculture raised considerably, and reached its apex in 2000 at 3000 cubic kilometre. Meanwhile, the usages in industrial and domestic grew moderately and steadily respectively.
Brazil owned much more porpulation, had much more irrigated land than Democractic Republic of Congo. Similarly, the water consumption per person in Brazil also outweighed Congo.
Overall, the sum of water usage was increased dramatically and the water consumption in Brazil was much more than Congo.
