The graph illustrates the average monthly rainfalls for three towns, namely Kainaliu, Opihihale and Holualoa; situated in Kona district of Hawaii. Additionally a table is also given when tabulates the average annual rainfalls from the year 1971 to 2000.
Overall, the Kainaliu town had the highest average rainfall in the month of September while Holualoa had the lowest in the December month. Subsequently, the Kainaliu recorded had the highest average annual showers while that of Opihihale had been the lowest.
The precipitation in Kainaliu reached 17 cm in September, which was the peak but had a massive decline of 10 cm by November. Whereas the Opihihale mostly had been consistent with minor changes, however, the area had its peak in September with approximately 10.5 cm rainfall. On the other hand, the wet weather in Holualoa had kept incling and declining every month.
In the time period of 30 years, the Opihihale is observed to have an average yearly rainfall of 97.53 cm, while that of Kainaliu and Holualoa was 138.38 and 110.48 respectively.
