The line graph illustrates unit sales of five kinds of jam of a company between 2009 and 2014.
Overall, while plum tended to drop sharply, other four types of jam experienced a significant growth trend. During the searching period, strawberry jam and raspberry jam maitained the first and the second position in the unit sales, respectively.
In 2009, the unit sale of grape jam was just 1 millions, much lower than strawberry and raspberry, at just under 3 millions and around 3.5 millions, respectively. Strawberry jam’s unit sale continued to increased sharply to 5.5 millions in 2011, and then it maintained the steady rise to 6.5 millions in the last year of the period. Although raspberry and grape began at different unit sales, they tended to increased gradually from around 3 millions to 5.2 millions and from 1.2 millions to approximately 4.4 millions , respectively.
The unit sale of plum jam was 2.5 millions, higher than cherry jam, at around 1.6 millions in the fisrt year of the period. Plum jam’s unit sale decreased steadily through out the years, from the initial figure to 0 millions in 2014. By contrast, cherry’s unit sale continued to rise to just under 2 millions in 2010 before it surpassed plum figure in 2011. After that, the unit sale of cherry jam fluctuated in the last three years, from 2 millions to 2.5 millions.
