Overall, amount of residents in Philippines was the highest in both years. While population of Catholics decreased in countries like Vietnam, Korea, and Philippines, it rose in remaining three countries.
Number of Catholics in Vietnam generally remained the same but experienced slight decrease in about 269 000 people in the given period; whereas Korea with almost the same figures in 2010 (5,27 million) underwent major decline and ended up being almost 5 times less (1,319 million) in 2013.
Both India and China showed considerable increase in numbers, where it rose from 10,57 million to 19 million in former and from 9 million to 15 million in latter countries. Japan, with its lowest figures amongst all countries also showed slight increase in 109 thousand, from 400 000 in 2010 to 509 000 in 2013.
