The line graph illustrates the comparative chart of ratio of people living in Phillippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia in urban area of the country from the year 1970 to 2020 and assumption for the years 2030 and 2040.
Overall, chart shows growing trend of population in all the given countries even after considering the extension assumed years. However, in these study period two countries faced fluctuation in the middle and then again took the increasing trend of the population and went up-to predicted times as well but other two countries showed gradual inclination of population in the cites in the whole study and assumed period.
In the beginning of year 1970, percentage of total population living in urban area in Malaysia and Indonesia were 30% and below 15% respective. With passing years the ratio were increased steadily and reached around 75% and 50% in 2020 respective. That increasing trend was continued in the extended period as well making them above 80% and 69% respectively.
Now regarding the remaining two countries, initially in 1970, the urban population percentage of Thaland was below 20% and that of Philippines was below 30%. Increment of population continued till 1990 making them around 30% and 50% respectively, then population of Thailand fell down little by little for the consecutive three years until 2020. Similar pattern was seen in Malaysia too but dropped for two years only making the ratio of population just above 40%. After these years both countries started increasing their population to above 40% and above 50% respectively accounting the predicated periods.
