The data shows the proportion of urban residents in Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and INdonesia between 1970 and following 2040 years.

Overall, percentage of inhabitant of each country was fluctuated at the beginning. However, from 1990 it had begun to increase, besides, figure of the prediction for the future is high on this way.

With regards to the proportion of city dweller in Malaysia, began exactly at 30% and since then, it has been continuing to grow.Nowadays the figure has reached the 75% and it is predicted to peak the highest point (just over 80%) by 2040. The second highest point (just over 60%) will be belonged to citizens of Indonesia. Despite the fact that they started at the lowest point in 1970.

The percentage of the population in Philippines consists the highest point at the begging , and peaked approximately 50% in 1990 before falling dramatically. Since 2010 it has been continuing to increase and will reach back just over 50%. Thailand citizens’ proportion peaked about 30% in 1990 after which it was raising slightly and will be the lowest figure in the 2040.
