Overall, there were upward trends in the percentage of proportion of teenagers intake of text messages and calls over the span, whereas the opposite pattern could be observed in the case of face to face, decreasing considerably. Although, the communication face to face at the highest figures in 1990, by 2020, their figure had become the lowest.
Turning to details, we can see upward tendencies in the figure for proportion of teenagers in two ways of communication in text messages and calls. The percentage communication of the text messages in US at approximately 6% in 1990, which was the most lowest at this year. However, this figure, witnessed moderately grew up to 30% by 2010 before increasing exponentially to 80% by 2020, which was shows the highest figure in the last of the period. Regarding messaging calls, starting of at roughly 23% this figure in this country rise up minimally to 27% in 2000, and it continued increasing considerably till 60% in the final year.
If we look at the communication face to face, the reversing dynamic can be seen. The share of using this contacting starting at 70% in 1990, which was shows the highest figure in this year. Although, this figure is the most used way of communication in this year, but it declined moderately from 70% to 50% between 1990 and 2000. However this figure decreased considerably from 50% in 2000 to 20% at the end of the span, which was the most lowest figure in the final year.
