Band 5: The graph below gives information on the numbers of participants for different activities at one social centre in Melbourn, Australia for the period 2000 to 2020. (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 1 Sample)

The line chart details the total number of participants in various activities between 2000 to 2020 from different clubs. Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that film club activities achieved a high number of participants in 2000, in comparison to musical performances which observed no participant in the same period. The other three clubs of material arts , Amature dramatics and Table tennis showed normal enrollment numbers of participants by 38, 28, 18 in the 2000.

In 2005, there were similar declines in the number of participants among two clubs ,film club, Material arts and recovered again above 60 and 30 participants on the end of the period.Unlike table tennis climbed number of participants slightly above 18 then plateaued in 2010 and continued to rise consistently to finish around above 50 number of participants in 2020.

In contrast, between 2015 to 2020 there was a marginal rise in the number of participants for Musical performance clubs and rose steadily to below 20 participants.However Amateur dramatics club observed the inverse dropping and ended below 10 participants.
