Thailand’s spending fluctuated during 1995 to 2001 between $50 million and $60 million, and then stayed consistently stable at slightly over $60 million in 2005. Vietnamese spending rose sharply from under $60 million in 1995 to approximately $75 million in 2005.
China’s spending increased significantly to $90 million in 1999, and then faced a minor drop in 2003 before rising again to reach a vast number of nearly $100 million in 2005. Indonesia’s spending increased reasonably from $30 million in 1995 to $40 million in 2001, before it rocketed sharply after that to slightly over $70 million in 2005.
