The bar chart gives information about the sales of five products, women’s clothes, men’s clothes, cosmetics, sports equipment and jewelry in four different seasons in a US department store in 2011.
Overall, while the sales figure for women’s clothes and jewelry increased stably across four seasons, the remaining categories of products fluctuated. Moreover, women’s clothes were always the best-seller in four seasons.
Regarding two categories having a stable upwards trend, women’s clothes sold the most at 40000 dollars in winter and continuously rocketed to 60000 dollars, 80000 dollars and 110000 dollars in spring, summer and autumn respectively. The sales of jewelry began at 19000 dollars in winter before decreasing to 18000 dollars in spring. After that, its sales figures rose to 50000 dollars in autumn.
In terms of the remaining categories, the figures for all three types of products fluctuated. Men’s clothes started at 27000 dollars in winter before reducing slightly by 7000 dollars in spring. Its sales grew in summer and then fell in autumn to 40000 dollars and 31000 dollars respectively. The figure for cosmetics was 30000 dollars and 40000 dollars in winter and spring respectively. Afterwards, its revenue declined to 22000 dollars in summer before increasing back to 40000 dollars in autumn. The sales of sports equipment decreased to 19000 dollars in spring after starting at 25000 dollars in winter. Then, its figure climbed to 46000 dollars in autumn.
