The data above is presenting the growth of world population over the years and-also predicting the trend of what could’ve been in approximately 70-ish year from now. It is also showing the difference of world urban population growth between developed regions and Developing Regions.
Overall, Human populations has been increasing in a fascinating state over the years, and will likely do that for the upcoming centuries. And interestingly the main contributor towards these rapid growth are more from a developing region part of the world.
From the line chart, it we can see that from 1800 to 1950 the trend were more stable going from around 1 billion people to a little bit more than 2 billion people, which only doubles for around 150 years. But in the chart we can see that, for only 2/3 of the time from 1950 to 2050, went from around 2 billions to 9 billions people immediately more than double the growth compared to the previous years.
And in the Bar chart we can conclude that, the cause of these rapid growth are most likely from the developing regions side of populations. Because from 2005 to 2030 it is a more stable trend for the developed regions.
