The given graphs illustrate the four different categories of citrus fruits being exported in the top three different countries in thousands of tones in 2012.
Overall, South Africa was the highest exporter of the oranges. Whereas Mexico was the highest exporter of lemons, and also exported grapefruits and other fruits in 2012. Noticeably, United States exported almost all the fruits in decent quantity, such as oranges, lemons, grapefruits and other fruits as well.
In 2012, nearly 1000 thousand tones of oranges exported by South Africa, and Egypt and United States accounted for roughly 500 and 450 thousand tones of export respectively. In addition, Mexico experienced highest export of lemons at around 500 thousand tones, whereas Argentina only exported 100 tones of lemons in 2012.
On the other hand, Turkey witnessed 400 thousand tones export of grape fruits and this figure was the highest comparatively. Meanwhile, Mexico and United States stood at 300 and 200 thousand tones of export of grapefruits respectively. while Mexico made up around 500 thousand tones of export of other fruits in 2012, Egypt and United states stood at nearly 10 thousand tones each.
