The graphs compare four different fruits namely, oranges, lemons, grape fruits and other types of citrus fruits in top countries which exported them in 2012.
Overall, South Africa was on the top of the list exporting oranges and lemons, while Turkey and Japan were the biggest exporter countries of grape fruits and other citrus fruit respectively.
Looking first at the South Africa, which topped the list by exporting 1,051,000 metric tons of oranges and approximately half of that lemons. Meanwhile the figure of Mexico stood at the second place amounting to 900,000 metric tons of oranges, following by 150,000 metric tons of lemons and being on the third position. The similar pattern can be seen in the proportion of United States, in the category of oranges country was accounting for 700,000 metric tones and exactly half of that in lemons.
As for the remaining categories, the figure for Turkey and United States was identical accounting for 350,000 metric tons of grape fruits. With regards to the least popular country, the proportion for Argentina was 70,000 metric tons lower than that of others. The situation was very different in the category of other citrus fruits, Japan was leading with 450,000 metric tons of fruits, and the figure of Israel and Mexico constituted for a minor of 6,000 and 4,000 metric tons only.
