Overall, with the exception of savings, all numbers experienced a steady increase.
At the beginning, savings’ proportion stood at about 11%, which was the highest at the time, followed by a stable percentage until before 1990. However, in the rest of the period, the proportion of savings plunged to below 5%, by contrast, accommodation’s reached its peak of approximately 17%.
