Overall, the three types of service fluctuated with different trends. The only cell phone services were ones seeing an upward trend. Alternatively, the national landline network experienced a gradual decrease, while international fixed-line service stayed stable during that period.

In 2001, people spent on national fixed-line services highest with $700, much more than on cell phone and international fixed-line services, around $200 and around $250 respectively. Subsequently, there was an opposite change with the downward trend in national fixed-line services and the growth in cell phone services. However, in 2006, these two services had equal expenditure about $500, and the international fixed-line service witnessed a modest increase to $300.

By 2010, three services remained unchanged. Although cell phone services began with the lowest position, they reached the highest point, with over $700. The spending on national fixed-line service was $400 and international fixed-line service stayed stable at the amount of $300 on costs.
