Overall, the air pollution sources had a decrease trend in almost of the factors, except for Transport. Over the time, total air pollutants still witness the highest figures and households were the least contributor.
First, total air pollutants the clear downtrend over the last 15-years period, plummeting from 7 million tonners to about 3.5 million tonners in 2005. Industry accounted for 5.5 million tonners in 1990 and then experienced the drop in 1996, decreasing 2 million tonners, before reaching the bottom at 2 million tonners around 10 years later.
Transport and household figures are 7 time less than total air pollutants, at 1 million tonners in 1990. Over the period, household decreased minimally by 0.8 million tonners over next 15 years. Despite the decrease of other factors, transport figure remain unchanged, at about 0.8 million tonners over studied period
