The given bar chart illustrates the rates of unemployed females in a particular region of the United Kingdom in 2013 and 2014.
It is evident that Scottish no-work females’ proportion recorded an increase, while other regions experienced a downward trajectory. Additionally, some fluctuations were seen in the rankings, notably in the sales of Scotland and Northern Ireland.
At first glance, the English rate of unemployment females was the largest figure, at nearly 7 percent in 2013. Meanwhile, the Scottish one recorded at over 6 percent, being the second largest category at the same time. Nevertheless, the volume of unemployed women in England dropped to 6.5 percent, whereas it in Scotland surged by approximately a percent in the year after, making Scotland the biggest figure, followed by England.
The remaining categories both saw a decline. In 2013, Northern Ireland’s proportion of un-workforce women peaked at 5.6 percent, while Wales recorded a 0.2-percent lower rate. The influx of females with no employment in Wales experienced a 0.4-percent reduction in the following year. Meanwhile, in Northern Ireland, the figure decreased rapidly to 4.6 percent in 2014, making it the smallest competitor given by the chart.
