The following graph stands out for the use of public transportation during 2016, it is measure by the percentage of people from the same range of age using the public transport depending of their residence. In the chart the ages are divided into six large groups.
Overall, the data shows that people who lived in large cities by 2016, use more public transport than the ones who live in small towns. Also in these cities people under the range of 31 to 45 years old are the ones who used of this service the most.
Getting into details, more than sixty percent of the population between 31 to 45 use the public transport in large cities. while, on the other hand, people older than sixty one years old seems to be the ones who are not using the service frecuently.
The reality in other parts of the country is different cause less than half of the community used public transportation. furthermore, less than ten percent of their elder population choose the public services to move around the city where they lived.
