The line chart depicts the percentage of usage of the public transport by two types of residents in accordance with the age group, observed in the year 2016.
Overall, the preference between the two residents vary among the diffence age groups. Firstly, the need of transport by the younger to middle aged people in the large city leads to higher usage of the public means of travel.
The precent from 15 years old to 45 year old, gradually rises from 40% to approximately 68%. This trend is followed by a dramatic fall to To about 42% by as the elderly tend to travel lesser than the younger. Subsequently, 61-75 aged people travel in a very low portion of 10%.
The other residents do not incline towards the public transport and the highest percent of 25% is by 16-30 aged people.
The people between the age 31 to 60 of only 15% travel by common means and it is observed to be preferred more than the preceding aged people.
