The linegraph compares the usage of new technologies in households,namely CD player,DVD player,Moblie phone and Internet connection in United Kingdom,in 14 years,from 1994 to 2008.
Overall,all devices mentioned above saw upward trend.Additionally,CD players have been using from the beginning,while others came after several years.
The figure for CD player increased gradually from around the 45 % to 85% over the period and has been the most popular item until 2007.Moreover,Internet connection climbed sharply from 25% to just below 80% between 2002 and 2006,then rose steadily by 10% up to 2008 and reached the peak.
On the other hand,the amount of DVD player users fluctuated consistently,started from just below 20% and finished with almost 80%,between 1996/1997 and 2008.In contrast,the figure of Mobile phone went up gradually by approximately 10% and 65%,in a decade,until 2008
