First and foremost, the major consumable item from the chart is cheese, where in the year 1970, it valued below 10 pounds and increased rapidly throughout, reaching above 20 pounds per head in 2010.
In addition to that, it is shown that one of the least favorite foods in the United States of America was low-fat ice cream, where it was consistently static below 5 pounds per person from 1970 till 2010.
Apart from that, yogurt was at the bottom of the chart in terms of consumption by Americans from 1970 till 1995, and surprisingly overtook low-fat ice cream and had a rapid increase from 2000 till 2010, reaching around 10 pounds per person. Where as full-fat ice cream was fluctuating around 10 pounds per person.
