The consumption of different types of products made from milk in the USA from1970 to 2010 is illustrated by the graph.
In general, Cheese and Yogurt increased at the end of the period, while Full-Fat Ice Cream underwent a downward trend. It can also be seen that the use of Cheese was significantly higher than the other products.
In 1970, Cheese started at about 7 pounds and dramatically rose over the duration, becoming the most consumed product in 2010 (approximately 24). Meanwhile, in the beginning of the period, Yogurt stood at just 0 pounds. After 40 years, in the similar fashion to Cheese, there was a considerable growth in the number of people using Yogurt.
By contrast, in 1970, the American people consumed Full-Fat Ice Cream the most (just over 10). Full-Fat Ice Cream stayed unchanged over 15 years. After 15-year times, it experienced a slight fall to just under 10 in 2010. It is also noticeable that at the same time, Low-Fat Ice Cream was followed by a period of stability (just under 5).
