Overall, it is clear that wheat exports in Canada being the highest in the beginning had declined noticeably by the end of the given period,while European Community emerged as the leading category. In contrast, index in Austria exhibited a slight decline, showing minor changes.
It is apparently seen that wheat export in Canada, which stood up at point of just over 20 million tonnes, started to decrease marginally in 1986 and then considerably increased in next two years, touching the highest point of 25 million tonnes. Before rising, the figure experienced a noticeable decline in 1988. By the end of the given period, it reached around 20 million tonnes.
Wheat exports case in Austria and in European Community had an approximately opposite each other fluctuations. The index in Austria had a slight growth, starting with 15 million tonnes in 1985 and fixed at just under 15 million tonnes. Furthermore European Community had a marginal decrease, reaching the nadir in 1986 and hovered at around 15 million tonnes till 1988, then started to go up until 1990. However, for the subsequent 4 years index in Austria decreased tediously, as a result the figure for European Community has surpassed Austrua by 10 million tonnes
