In 1960, more than 25% of travellers used bikes, then declined to around 23%, before experiencing a dramatic fall to a negligible proportion (slightly more than 5%). Similarly, walk was a very popular option among tourists in 1960, accounting for 35%. This proportion dropped to below 20% in 1980 and kept decreasing to around 10% in 2000.
