The line graph represents the quantity of green transportation in millions from 1980 to 2030.
Overall, there was a considerable increase in the usage of subways and trains, while the commuters of buses went down. Commuters started to use bikes in the middle of the period and the number of people riding bike moderately grew.
As it is presented in the graph, subways were the most used green transportation with 2.5 million commuters in the first year. This number gradually rose and stopped at 4.5 million in 2030. In addition to other conveyances, bikes were introduced as a new green transportation method in 2000. The figure for bikes started from just below 0.5 million and increased to around that number.
Trams were the least used green transportation with nearly 0.5 million commuters in the period from 1980 to 2010, whereas the indicator for bus was around 1.5 million. However, the number of people using trams reached to the same number as buses in 2010. Over the next years, the quantity of bus users decreased to just below 0.5 million, while the figure for trams gradually went up to 2 million.
