During the same timeframe, bus, which initially had nearly 1.5 million users in 1980, saw its figure fall continuously to about 0.8 million.
In contrast, despite beginning at relatively low levels, both bike share and tram witnessed a growth in the number of commuters. The tram, starting at approximately 0.3 million commuters in 1980, saw a significant rise to about 1.5 millions in 2020, followed by future rise to 2.0 millions. Bike share, which was recorded at about 0.1 million commuters in 2000,is predicted to register marginal climb to 0.6 million in 2030.
