Overall, number of applicants from the far east states showed stable and noticable growth throughout the table. However the number of candidates from the European nations dramatically decreased over the time. Quanity of Middle eastern students has also increased and the amount of African contenders almost remained the same over the time and just slightly increased at the end.
The number of the applicants from the European states was 30.000 in 1999, but by 2003 that number dropped to the approximately 12.500 candidates. On the other hand the amount of students which applied from the far east was somewhere around 15.000, except in 2003 that number went somewhat above 32.000.
Additionally, The amount of Middle eastern candidates have also increased. At first, during the period between 1999 and 2002 it only increased by 1.000-2.000 applicants, but from 2002 and 2003 in just one year it raised by almost 10.000 applicants. Finally the amount of the African candidates have also raised but not dramatically going from 5.000 applicants in 1999 and reaching almost 8.000 candidates in 2003.
