The graph below demonstrates the figure for enquiries were received via different ways by a University Admissions Office from January to June in 2021.
Overall, a steady decrease in the number of enquiries received through letters and emails was witnessed throughout the period, whereas the opposite was true for face-to-face interactions and phone calls. In the beginning, the figure for enquiries received from normal human-human interactions was the lowest compared to the other categories. Surprisingly, It surpassed the other two opponents and hit its peak in June.
In January, approximately 900 enquiries were dispatched by calling, despite a minor decrease in February, the number bounced back to hit 1000 in March. Similarly, enquiries sent in person increased significantly from about 400 in January to 800 in March. In contrast, there was a slight decrease in the number of enquiries received through letter and email in the first 3 months, estimated from nearly 800 to 700 enquiries.
Between March and June, the number of enquiries received by a University Admissions Office via face-to-face interactions and phone conversations continued to grow rapidly, by 1100 and 600 enquiries, respectively. By contrast, the figure for enquiries received through handwritten mail and email plummeted in number from about 700 to under 400 enquiries in May and remained unchanged.
