The provided line chart compares three methods: face-to-face, by letter/ email and by mobie phone in terms of how many enquiries were received by the Tourist Information Office in one town over the period of six months in 2011.
As is observed, while the number of enquiries made in person and by telephone witnessed an upward trend, the opposite was true for by letter or email. In addition, it is evident that the number of in person was highest from April to June.
Looking at the chart in more detail, in January, enquiries made in person were the most uncommon method, stood at approximately 400 questions which reached a peak of about nearly 2000 units in Jun. Likewise, there was a slight increase in the figure by telephone, starting at approximately 900 went up to 1600 questions in June.
In contrast, requests made by traditional way decrease noticetably. The number of enquiries by letter stood at nearly 800 units in the first month. This figure, however, went down and hit a low of nearly 400 questions over the period shown.
