The depicted line graph provides number of expats in USA, Canada, and Australia across a ten-year period from 1991.
Throughout the period, the most popular choice to immigrate was the USA, peaking in the start, and then gradually decreased. Whereas, Canada and Australia remained their initial figures; however, Canada outnumbered Australia, and had increasing in 2000.
By 1991, the USA had the biggest flow of immigrant, accounting for nearly 1500 thousands; whereas, other countries had 200 and about 150 thousands. While the USA declined to 1000 toward 1993 after a growth by 1992, other participators remained the same numbers. In 1996, the USA continued to decrease gradually to under 800; whereas, Canada and Australia returned their figures after a slight deviation from 1993 to 1996. In 1997, the USA started to rise to 900 thousands, after which declined to approximately 650 in 1999. By the period from 1999 to 2000, all the figures did not change. Only by 2001 Canada nad the USA began to rise and peaked at 400 and around 750 thousand as well.
