The line graph illustrates the rate of international visitors in three different countries (the United States, Japan, and France) from 2000 to 2010.
Overall, the three countries experienced an upward trend although the tourists who came to the United States had some fluctuation. Although it initially had the biggest number of visitors, the number of tourists visiting the United States had been overtaken by France.
At the beginning, Japan accounted for the lowest number of visitors at approximately 5 millions. However, although it had the smallest number of tourists in 2000, it gradually increased to more than 20 millions by 2010.
On the other hand, the visitors in the United States had the highest rate among the other countries in 2000 at almost 50 millions, followed by France at 30 millions. It is clear that France had the second biggest number of visitors at the beginning; however, it surpassed the United States and became the leading destination at the end of the period.
