Overall, it is clear that visitors in the last years of the study tended to go to the coasts, while, on the other hand, in 2002 lakes was the most visited place in Europe.
As per the line chart, it is obvious that the numbers of tourists witnessed fluctuations throughout the years of the survey. However, it ended up with around 35k visitor in 2007.
Furthermore, the figure of the coast tourism declined slightly from 40k into 35k in 1992. Luckily, that did not last for long as it instantly started to incline in the same year in a gradual way to accomplish its peak with 75k in 2007, whereas the mountains overseas travellers rose steadily from only 10k in 1987, to around 50k in 1997, as it skyrocketed afterward to implement the highest level in its history with 75k. Unfortunately, that did not stabilise as it started to diminish to be only 50k in 2007.
