Additionally, the total visitors came to there consistently had the highest figures, whereas the opposite was true if case of visitors staying on cruise ships and became the dominant category in the final years.
In 2010, the number of total ways visitors on island just began at 1 million prior to rising considerably to 2,75 million over next five years. Then, the figure leveled off until 2016, when it started to skyrocketed, finishing at 3,5 million. At the beginning of the period, the quantity of visitors staying on cruise ships started at roughly 0,25 million, after which the figure saw slight fluctuations between 2010 and 2013. Having grown dramatically to 1,25 million in 2015, then the figure overtook visitors staying on island to be the second highest and finishing the period at 2 million.
In the first examined year, the number of visitors staying on island stood at 0,75 million, and by 2011, the figure remained unchanged over one year later. From 2011 to 2013, this figure increased steadily to 1,5 million. From the year 2013 onwards, the quantity of visitors chose staying on island witnessed insignificant changes over the period.
