The line graph illustrates how many tourists visited the Caribbean island in the period from 2010 to 2017.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that there was a growth in the total number of tourists who visited the island.
According to the graph, at the beginning of the given period, the difference between the number of tourists who stayed on cruise ships (0.25 million) and those who stayed on the island (0.75 million) was approximately 0.5 million people. However, in 2011, the gap between the two types of tourists reduced. In the next 5.5 years, from 2011 to 2015, the rise in popularity for both increased and reached the same number of tourists, accounting for a bit less than 1.5 million tourists. From that period, the popularity of staying on cruise ships continued increasing and reached its peak by the year 2017 with 2 million tourists in total. However, there was a slight decline in the number of tourists staying on the island that appeared in 2016. Yet, the number of tourists for this category rolled back to the number of the period from 2013 to 2015 when it reached its highest point.
