The given line graph illustrates the figure for graduation of Canadian universities by gender throughout the years 1992 to 2007. As can be seen from the graph, there was an upward trend in graduation in both male and female over the time; however, the number of female graduates was much higher than the graduation in male.
According from the graph, in 1992, the number of female graduation increased from nearly 100,000 individuals in 1992 to around 105,000 individuals three years later. After experiencing a slight decrease to 100,000 people in 1998, it rose significantly to around 127,000 individuals in 2004. Then the number of female graduates increased sharply to a peak at nearly 150,000 people by 2007.
In contrast, the figure for male graduation was much lower that this number in female. only around 70,000 individuals graduated in 1992, this number increased to around 78,000 people in 1995. Following a slight decline from 1996 to 2001, the number of male graduates increased steadily to around 95,0000 individuals by 2007
