The graph gives information about the figures of Canadian males and females graduated from universities between 1992 and 2007.
Overall, both lines show growing trends. The number of university graduates has increased in 15 years. However, the general number of female former students is more than male ones.
The rate of women who graduated from college has risen significantly from about 100 thousand to almost 150 thousand. Thus the growth is 50 thousand female graduates. In comparison, the total increase of graduated men is less, only 20 thousand.
The number of male students who finished college went up more steadily than female ones. It had a little fluctuation between 1998 and 2001. On the other hand, the female graduates rate had a period of relative stagnation from 1996 till 2000 and then rocketed to the top spot in 2007.
In the end, the graph shows upward trends but there are more female graduates than male ones.
