The chart above showed the percentage of adults in urban and rural areas who took part in four free time activities in two separate years, 1990 and 2010.
Generally, the chart shows the percentage of adults in urban and rural areas in 2 different years, 1990 and 2010 participated in 4 activities which are reading, animated playing, playing, photography.
In both 1990 and 2010, the percentage of adults in urban areas engaged in reading activity remained the highest out of all four activities with a 3% rise after 20 years, standing at 61% and 78%, respectively. Similarly, the percentage of adults who took part in reading in rural areas also remained the highest with a slight 7% raise in the period of 20 years, from 71% to 78%. Photography in both urban and rural areas showed a 10% rise from 7% to 17% and 14% to 24%, respectively
Contrary to two above activities, Playing in the urban area faced a 7% drop in 2010 compared to 1990, from 21% to 14%, while it in rural area remained the same 26% after 20 years .Animated play in the urban area also left unchanged at 10% without any raise nor fall in both of the recorded years, yet it face a slightly 4% drop in the rural areas.
