The line graph presents the percentage female pupils in four different subjects at one university between 1970 and 2015.
Overall, it can be seen that subject “Low” shows the highest rate at the end of the statistics. But, at the start of the graph it is clearly seen that Low has the lowest rate. Additionally, “Computer science” had the highest rate, and the lowest point in 2005.
In 1970, The proportion of pupils studying the Low (5 percent) and the Medicine (20 percent) were the lower than two subjects Physics (27 percent) and Computer science (35 percent). After 5 years, two subjects that have the highest rate remained unchanged, while Low shows sudden change and the Medicine increased slowly.
In 1990, Medicine rapidly risen to 70 per cent, and the “Low” risen to more than 75 percent. While other subjects only fluctuated among 10 percent per year. After 25 years, the rate of the Computer science dramatically declined to 35 percent, and The Low has the first place among four different course, while medicine and the Physics has almost the same percentage (around 80 and 85 percent).
