Overall, it is clear that the percentage of female workers and aged 50+ workers were rose gradually over the given year. While the proportion of female workers was recorded from 1071 to 2019, the proportion of elderly workers were only recorded in 1990-2019.
To begin, the proportion of women who worked from 1971 to 2019 accounted increased by about 10%. In 1971, there were 37% female employees in UK workforce, then it grew to around 46% in 1990. Moreover, the percentages slightly went up to 47% in the end of given period (2019).
Meanwhile, the proportion of elderly workers recorded only in 1990-2019. In 1990, the percentage of people who aged 50 and above was only 21%. Likewise, it also increased gradually over decades. In 2000, it increased to aaabout 25% and rose to almost 30% a decade later. Lastly, it reached 32% in 2019.
