The line graph illustrates the percentage of individuals by age group going to cinema at least once per month in one nation from 1978 to 2008.
Overall, it is clear that young individuals went to cinema more than any other age group. It is also seen that at a point of time, percentage of people who were going to cinema at least once per month was same.
In 1978, more than 90% of teenagers and adults between the ages of 14 and 24 were going to cinema. On the other hand, individuals from 25 to 34, 81% of them were going to cinema, and in 1988, this count dropped by 19%. Moreover, people belonging to the age groups of 25 to 49, 60% of them, and 40% of people above the age group of 50 were going to cinema at least once a month.
Moving towards the year 1988, every age group going to cinema was reduced. In addition to this, people belonging to the age group of 14 to 24 showed minimal level of fluctuation, and in 2008, less than 90% were going to cinema. However, people above 54 who were going to cinema skyrocketed to 50% and then slightly increased in 2008. In 1993, people from the age group of 25 to 34 and 35 to 49 made same at 63% each, and then in 2008, their percentage were nearly 80% and almost 70% respectively.
