Overall, the percentage of people taking part in music festivals aged from 16 to 24 was highest at most of the shown period while the figure for people aged over 75 was lowest. It is also noticeable that there was a significant growth in the attendances of the youngest people during the period between 2010 and 2015.
The proportion of people who fell into the 25 to 44 age group was the largest in 2010, at 50% while that of people were between 16 and 24 had the second greatest with 40%. However, the percentage of people aged from 16 to 24 participating in music concerts considerably rose by nearly 30% and surpassed the figure for people were between 25 and 44 at the remaining of the period.
The period from 2010 and 2015 witnessed a dramatic rise in the proportion of people aged over 75 from 10% in 2010 to 20% in 2015. Similarly, there was a minimal increase in the percentage of people who fell into the 45 to 54 age group during this period. In contrast, the figure for people were between 55 and 64 remained stable at about just over 20% during the period from 2010 to 2015.
