Overall, it can be seen that 6 countries namingly Ireland, Italy, Canada, the UK, the USA and Australia experienced drops in unemployed rate while other countries such as Poland, Germany, Japan saw an increase over the given period.
In 1994, Ireland had the lowest rate in employment whereas Japan was the lowest. During the given 10 years it can be seen that Ireland increased workplaces, failing from 14.8 to 4.8 in jobless proportion. On the other hand, Japan climbed slightly from 2.7 to 4.7.
In 2004, Poland surged from 12.4 to 19, surpassing other 8 countries in its unemployment ratio. Conversely, the UK declined from 9.5 to 4.7, making it one of the countries which had highest employed rate in 2004. Eventhough Japan grew to 4.7 , it still shown the least percentage of jobless people in the total labour force.
